Squatchi Shoe Sizer Review

Squatchi Shoe Sizer Review

Recently, we were given the opportunity to review the Squatchi, which is a home children's shoe sizer. Squatchi, coined a “bigfoot sizer for little feet” is just that, a children’s shoe sizer. The Squatchi is made of unbreakable plastic and comes in a variety of colors such as orange, green, blue and the new PINK. My 4 year old would love the pink. She is after all, a princess. I seriously wish I had it in pink to just hang on her wall. Which is one of the aspects I love about it. You CAN hang it!

Squatchi was invented by a mom, who like most of us moms, was always short on time and was looking for a time saver where shopping where her children were involved.

In 2008, Squatchi co-founder Amy Carabajal tried to avoid the dreaded shoe store trip with small kids. After chatting with other parents, she realized the need for a home sizing solution. In 2011, Amy and friend Debra Rosenbloum began brainstorming. In nine months, the foot growth chart and shoe sizer for kids concept transitioned from a dream to reality, and Squatchi was born!

Since our children's little feet change constantly, the Squatchi has helped make buying shoes so much easier.

As you can see, my 4 year old is a shoe size 10. Her right foot however is a 9.5. Very interesting! My 3 year old is a size 9, he isn't great with letting me take pictures. My baby girl is a size 1.

The Squatchi measures children’s shoe sizes, up to a big kid’s size 5. Squatchi is made in the USA out of a lightweight, recyclable, unbreakable plastic. It’s just like the shoe sizers in the stores and is super easy to use. I fell that the Squatchi is more kid friendly as well. My kids loved being able to measure their own feet.

It can also be used as a keepsake. Just mark what size your kid's foot is with a sharpie each time you measure their feet, you could even add the date and you will have a record of how quickly their little feet became big feet! Do this yearly on birthdays and keep the memory with you. Much more practical than using a doorway.

If you order shoes on line and have kids with constantly growing feet, this does the trick. Even if you buy your shoes in a store this helps you know if the salesperson knows what their talking about and not just trying to sell you a shoe.

We really love our Squatchi and believe that you will too!
